TCK-HD2; TC Adapter Kit. This allows The Corrector to be used with any electronic speedometer, motorcycle or car, with instructions.

2004: This was a "transition" year for the Sportster VSS connectors, two different types were used. The Correctors work the same from 1995 to present, but the 2004 uses two different connector styles.

  1. Flat: The flat one is not available, this kit is to adapt to triangular. The kit requires you to cut into the VSS cable to attach the adapters to change to the triangular style.
  2. Triangular: The triangular style is common.

The kit allows you to use The Corrector. To verify the style of connector used on your bike, follow the cable from the VSS, at the back of the starter. It frequently connects around the battery box. HD used the triangular style for other applications on your bike so be certain of the VSS cable.

TC-HD2; Sportster 1995-2004 & Harley BT's 1995-2005:  This unit has the three position triangular shaped connector, see picture. Check your connector before ordering. The Corrector interferes with speedometers that include "Gear Indicator", typically 2014 and newer when changing front pulley more than one tooth.

TC-HD1; Sportster 2005-Up:  This unit has a rectangular connector that plugs directly to the speed sensor. The Corrector interferes with speedometers that include "Gear Indicator", typically 2014 and newer when changing front pulley more than one tooth. See picture for image.

Corrector Setting:  When you purchase, include your year and model and we will preset The Corrector for your pulley change. Or, if you just need to correct your speedometer, give us the odometer error amount at 50 miles (at 50 miles my odo says 45) and we will preset the unit for you. GPS is the most accurate method.
